Hi all haven't been on in a while so thought I'd put a little catch up.

So after my telephone conversation with my consultant registrar she told my they would be introducing cetuximab to my treatment so off I went to my treatment 3 weeks ago but couldn't have it because it hadn't been prescribed, another telephone consultation with one of the team who I could hardly understand said it woukd start next treatment yesterday so got myself prepared got there 9am to be told a fome hadn't been signed so they were waiting what to do. So after  stamping my Feet I managed to speak to my oncologist between he's clinics.

So he explained he didn't want to add the cetuximab aa it can cause diarrhoea and given my background and my stoma and bloods are all very settled he didn't want to upset the apple cart sos to speak, he said my cancer was stable and my bloods are excellent so he felt I didn't need it so I'm just on 5fu I trust his opinion he knows me well.

I appreciate lots of people are on cetuximab with no diarrhoea but he just didn't want to take the chance with my after my awful time last year.

That's where I'm at I have a face to face with him after Christmas
