So had an actual laugh out loud moment earlier. As mentioned earlier Jay has been put on a course of water tablets by the oncologist and they are `fierce`. Poor soul thought he'd made in time to the loo but unfortunately, I had to go and mop up a couple of `wee puddles` `wee` being the operative word. He has a telephone consultation this coming Tuesday (15th November) with the urologist regarding his kidney function so we are just going to go to the caravan for a couple of days tomorrow- we need it just to get time away from hospitals, clinics etc. Had one of the MacMillan nurses phone me they are based at our local hospice in Glasgow and the oncologist had actually made a referral for us as he asked yesterday if we were struggling with this at home and Jay told him I was so a nurse phoned just to say that they are there any time we need to ask anything regarding treatment, symptoms or anything or indeed if we need their services where they come out but I don't think we are at that stage just yet as Jay is still up and about on his feet. I told her we see the oncologist again on the 24th and she said she would arrange for someone to give me a call back on the 25th by then we may have a better idea of what is to happen treatment wise.
