I'm on cycle 5 last one for now next week but gosh the fatigue is awful I feel on a high for three days then bang all energy sapped feel like my body won't co operate with my mind.

I mentioned it to my oncologist and he said it comes with chemo.

I'm just hoping it's sapping it

CEA down to 8.2

AlT down to 26 from 72 so bloods looking good.

Hi HazG. You have done amazingly well throughout this. I seem to remember they used to put a steroid through with mine at some point so the crash might be when that wears off? The results are looking good so keep on fighting through it and everything crossed for some great news at the end of it

Is it awful to say I'm slightly jealous? I crashed with fatigue on day 3 of cycle 1.

Hopefully your's is just a one off and that your final cycle is easier.

If you don't mind me asking, what Chemo are you on? And are you on steroids with it?

I'm on folfori and yes the steriods for three days then the crash out. Xx

Interesting. I'm on F5U (no Oxi) but also have IV steriods on start then 2 days of tablet steriods.

Another member onnthis site just flagged steriods disturb sleep... this is great to understand as can plan for my crashes now
