So after being told ned after Hartman's the 6 month scan in July showed liver metastases. MRI found only one lump and after more tests they finally intend to operate on Thursday. Feeling apprehensive.
Hi Bearwidower
Oh so sorry to read this update Bearwidower.
However it sounds as though this is very contained and has a good surgical option . If it’s any encouragement to you my mum found the liver resections much easier to recover from than the bowel resection.
We will be thinking of you and look forward to hearing you are safely in recovery and cancer free .
Take care ,

Update, I had the op for a liver resection on Thursday (13th) This did not go to plan as they found a major vein running through the tumor rendering it inoperable They abandoned the op and closed me up. I am now healing and trying to get mobile. The next step is oncology to look at chemo / radiotherapy in a few weeks.
Oh so sorry to hear that . Such a difficult process for you to endure .
However I am holding out for a good plan for you . As my mum’s oncologist said the radiologist are giving the surgeons a good run for their money .
Take special care and heal well .
Best foot forward to a better plan for you .
