October is bringing my brother to stay for a week. He lives in Spain and is having hormone treatment for prostate so is really looking forward to our cooler weather. I just hope he’s not going to be too cold. My house is cold now and the Gas is staying off. I’ve got throws and logs for the log burner.
We went for a walk today my first since my op September. Not physically demanding operation more needing to have a toilet close by.

Hi ,
We are trying to heat ourselves not the entire house Artsie. We have definitely have cut right back . I feel the difference but got my cardigan on .
Got mum’s right down as well as she is in hospital still . The hospital is boiling hot !

Found this at the end of my street today !
Bumped into a man in the hospital car park of all places . He told me he had bowel cancer then various resections to other organs over a long period of time . We chatted for a bit and he cheered me up no end .

What an amazing photo. It’s really bright a cheerful.
I’m lucky my sister and Mum have knitted me cardigans and jumpers. That’s what kept me warm when growing up so I’ll be fine.
Why do they keep hospitals so hot?. It’s unbearable at times.
