  • Rotten  . I am heading a lot of people saying the same about it just now . I think you deserve a cosy day of self indulgence and spoiling . And hopefully tomorrow will bring the lift you need .

  • Rest! Rest, and rest. From a 2year covid survivor. It mucks with your brain, and everything. Just try things in very small doses, pace, and don't be too hard on yourself. (Unlike me!) I have a thread detailing my covid journey, and Macmillan made part into a blog, but I don't know how to tag them. Just in case they help. Really hope you recover in the 2 or 3 weeks, with no lasting symptoms.

So no, no butt kicking, you need to chill if possible and that way you should get better quicker. Xx

  • Hi . I had COVID 3 weeks ago - 2 weeks after my hip replacement. I had a cough and felt meh but mentally it really hit me - in fact I felt like I did when I had a set back after my bowel op and it brought back those memories. I pretty much lived off chicken soup for a week, read and watched telly. Virtually a week to the day after testing positive I felt like someone had flicked a switch - my appetite returned and I felt up to helping prepare tea. So feel free to feel sorry for yourself and do nothing for a few days until you start to get topside of it x
