Feeling a bit sorry for myself today , I've caught covid and it's messing with my positivity . Isn't it strange ,I can challenge my cancer but this bug is making me feel a weakling with no umph. Anideas for kicking my butt ?
Rest! Rest, and rest. From a 2year covid survivor. It mucks with your brain, and everything. Just try things in very small doses, pace, and don't be too hard on yourself. (Unlike me!) I have a thread detailing my covid journey, and Macmillan made part into a blog, but I don't know how to tag them. Just in case they help. Really hope you recover in the 2 or 3 weeks, with no lasting symptoms.
So no, no butt kicking, you need to chill if possible and that way you should get better quicker. Xx
Not sure if this will work, xxx

Hi Africa1. I had COVID 3 weeks ago - 2 weeks after my hip replacement. I had a cough and felt meh but mentally it really hit me - in fact I felt like I did when I had a set back after my bowel op and it brought back those memories. I pretty much lived off chicken soup for a week, read and watched telly. Virtually a week to the day after testing positive I felt like someone had flicked a switch - my appetite returned and I felt up to helping prepare tea. So feel free to feel sorry for yourself and do nothing for a few days until you start to get topside of it x
