Has anyone had treatment with folfiri and not lost their hair
It’s good, working for me. My thing is I had UTI during Christmas, it never really left but got scans and mri all showed clear. I asked for a camera and they saw something. So going for a biopsy on my bladder next Monday. I had radiation some years ago and this can be a side effect. Where they take a little off every so many years.it’s where something grows. They just shave it off. Under sedation. So hope that’s what it is. So the foloiri worked and feeling good. Walking 13 thousand steps a day. x
Am pleased it worked for you and hope all goes well next Monday. My appointment is next Tuesday. I had rectal cancer two years ago and had an operation. One year later they found a small enlarged lymph node in my groin and I had it removed but it showed cancerous cells, I went on chemotherapy for 16 weeks. Now a year later and after that chemo my scan shows some more enlarged lymph nodes in the pelvic area. So now I have to go on this folfiri. I am pleased to be able to have someone to discuss this with. Thank you.
Candy we are fighters. Court who is so wonderful here has a very interesting bio about her mother. All the twists and turns, and 10 years later she is well.
I am ok. I feel really well except for the fact that I know now that I have to have treatment. My appointment is on Tuesday and I guess then I will get my treatment plan. I expect then I will slowly start to feel the effects of the treatment. Just praying that it will work for me without too many side effects. My husband and I had plans to go to Budapest for a long weekend in May. I am not sure now whether I will be able to go. Such a shame as have not had a holiday for over two years. How are u doing?
Well, I got through it, without much trouble. Rested a lot, as near the end of the session I was getting tired. About 3 weeks later I noticed my energy coming back. Well I got covid, just have a head cold. Nothing else. Had PCR test yesterday and antigen test was positive. Think of Budapest after this. It’s lovely to visit in the autumn time.
Right after treatment I went to Marbella, as my husband got sick there so had to bring him home. In his male menopause he bought a mustang car so had to drive it. That was first time driving there. The port I had no problem. You will be travelling after this.
