Has anyone had chemotherapy with folfiri and not lost their hair?

Hello Candy, ask for a  Cold Cap, I had it for all my sessions. My hair thinned a little but nobody notice. Hair back now to before.

Thank you.  Was that with taking folfiri as the treatment.  I have 20 weeks of treatment at two days of treatment every 14 days.  It happens in a couple of weeks and I am really devastated about losing my hair.  

Yes, I had the treatment every 2 weeks then had a port so took a bottle home for 2 days. Ask for the cool Cap tomorrow. Also I used aveda serum on my scalp by rubbing it in. But ask the nurse about that to be sure. My eyebrows thinned but used a great serum for that and another one for my eye lashes. Now I think my brows too bushy! Will get the name of the eye brow serum for you 

The name of the company is revitalash, and revitabrow. Also you can rent a cool Cap from a company in London. I think the name is penguin. But ask your nurse tomorrow to book your cap for your infusions. Take care x

Helen. How did you manage the cold cap whilst you were on the treatment at home with the pump?

Helen was the cold cap you had provided by the hospital.  My appointment is not until Tuesday so I will not be able to get any answers until then.  I am grateful for your information.

Hello Candy, you will go through this I know. Also I took peppermint pills if I had an upset tummy but really hadn’t much problems. I’m going through a few bits at the moment and we are all holding o e another’s hands
