Just had my first session of FOLFIRI by transfusion then sent home with port pump for two days.
Looking for a ) advice re: port
and b) what painkillers do people safely use with irinotecan?
used paracetamol/Tramadol and dexketoprofen upto know with varying degrees of success. Losing sleep with the pain in my side from tumors running rampant after being after being off chemo for too long and consequent liquid/gas build up! Not used ibuprofen till now as Not sure if it’s safe to use with this stuff.
Help! just want to sleep!!
