Hi anyone help with this? I had complete response from bowel cancer within weeks found 1 cm of cancer on my liver. Was referred to another hospital was told I would be getting a phone call at 1.30 today and a letter confirming this. It said it could be up to an hour late. About 3.45 I phoned where the PA said I was on the list and definitely get the call, and the late call this happens a lot. Well no call called. I have not been treated at this hospital before. It is the Royal Free in Hampstead London. My daughter wants to e.mail the team, but I always worry about complaining. I will call tomorrow at 9, I just wondered, if this happened to anyone else?

My rule of thumb is to always try and keep people on side as life is just easier but it is absolutely reasonable to ask if there was an error in the system and would they like to reschedule? 
Soon ! I would most certainly do that but it’s just my opinion ! If I find myself still worked up about something I get my husband to do it . He is so calm and sometimes I think he is getting no wh
e on a call as he is so passive but you know he always gets where he needs to go to !.
You are capable and polite so an email or phone call is appropriate. If you get through phoning that’s great and if it becomes problematic your daughter is correct in that an email leaves a communication trail !
