Finished capecitabine and radiotherapy a week ago had very lose bowel and my poo is yellowish orange is this normal and bun feels like it's burning
when I go thanks helen
Hi Bop, had the same treatment as you, my bowel was a bit lose, not watery, that was all that I had to cope with. If you’re worried maybe get in touch with a Macmillan and they will steer you in the right direction. Sorry I can’t be of anymore help then that. Wishing you a speedy recovery,xx
Hi . Yes a burning bum is not nice. I apply a nappy rash cream to ease the sting. Radiotherapy carries on working for several weeks after finishing (hence the delay before scans) but hopefully things should settle down soon.
The number for the nurses is 0808 808 00 00 if you want to give them a quick ring?
Take care
