Hi in May 2020 I was rushed into hospital due to a bowel blockage. I had to have a bowel retraction and they found the tumour. They removed it and it was a long recovery. 6 months later after a PET Scan they found a cancerous lymph node but just wanted to keep an eye on it and I had another scan in February this year and there has been uplift to further lymph nodes. Still no treatment just observation. Has anyone had a Neuroendocrine tumour in the bowls area if so please say hi.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I had a different type of cancer to you but it's always good to be able to share experiences with others who have the same type.
I noticed that you hadn't had any replies to your post so I used the group's search facility to see if anyone else here has mentioned having a neuroendocrine tumour in their small bowel but drew a blank I'm afraid.
It might be an idea to join and post in the duodenal cancer and the neuroendocrine cancer groups to see if you can connect with others with your type of cancer there. If this is something that you'd like to do then clicking on the links I've created will take you to those groups.
It would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Hi
Welcome to the forum . Your post was one I read on my email , thought I must reply to that and completely missed it by the time I came onto the forum .
The reason I wanted to connect with you my mum’s very good friend was diagnosed with a bowel neuroendocrine tumour the same time as my mum . Resection was obviously similar but she had a completely different clinical pathway thereafter . She seemed to have a lot more observation for a long time and when they did treat it was more with injections that seemed to keep her stable . She did very well with that for many years but developed a completely different condition unrelated to cancer .
It was a good plan .
take care ,
