Anyone else like me? Only found out because I fell over and ended up in hospital for six days. 3 blood transfusions later and after an XRay bone cancer was found in my neck!

Anyone else feeling lost and in turmoil like me?

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read that you have recently discovered that you have cancer in the bones of your neck and I'm sure anyone in the same situation would feel as you do.

I'm not sure from your post if this cancer that they've discovered is a new primary or another secondary. If it's a new primary then I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join and post in the bone cancer group and if it's a secondary then joining the secondary breast cancer group would put you in direct contact with others who have a similar diagnosis.

To join, just click on the link I've created and, once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
