My son is currently reciving methotrexate, we could not get an answer from the oncologist to the question of whether we can include biobran as a supportive treatment in addition to conventional chemotherapy, they even asked us to cancel all supportive therapy, because they are not sure why his liver enzymes are elevated
We are afraid to eliminate everything because we believe that all vitamins and minerals cannot be obtained through diet.
Any help and advice would be welcome
Hi Marina1977
I'm very sorry to read that your son has bone cancer and it's naturally an anxious time when something like high liver enzymes happen.
I have no experience with biobran and can't find any previous posts in this group from people who have used it. Personally, I would follow the advice that you've been given my your son's oncologist as they are the people who know what is best.
It would be great if you could pop something about your son's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
