I feel really dramatic and silly posting on here. I have severe health anxiety and health OCD but for the last 2 years or more I've been really struggling with my health and I've had concerns.
Back in December 2023 I took sick and I haven't been the same since. Endless doctors appointments, advice calls, hospital visits, it's been a very very difficult 2 years.
I have a wide range of symptoms that are confusing alot of doctors and specialists and very often my symptoms are being put down as my anxiety and mental health as the diagnosis. I fully believe that isn't the case. I have very real and debilitating symptoms that are taking over my life.
I have daily nausea and have done for 2 years, stomach pain, constipation or runs which isn't normally like me, tension headaches, tingling hands and feet, dizziness, lightheadedness, feelings like I could faint, feeling weak, extremely tired, weight loss (I lost 10lbs in weight in November 2025) all in one month, my iron has now shown low in bloods, I've had irregular periods for months, trouble swallowing my food at times, feels as though it's getting stuck, a cough for a very long time, hourseness in my voice on and off, a swollen lymph node in my neck for at least 6 months but doctors say it's normal and no concerns. Heart palpitations, feeling out of breath and I'm falling sick often with either colds, flus, unknown viruses..I'm always ending up unwell.
My life has been extremely difficult and everyday I'm in tears and thinking I need to go to hospital because I'm so scared of how I feel. I had fears of thyroid cancer which sounds dramatic but I've been told a few times it sounds like a thyroid issue but bloods are done and come back normal so I'm told not to worry about my thyroid. I just want some advice please.
