Hi Rictic,
Welcome to this friendly forum, but sorry to hear what you're going through.
Both red patches and passing blood can be symptoms of the BCG. I've had red patches myself and these were biopsied and come back clear.
I recall a numbers of other forum user's also posting of having red patches, which again were side effects of the BCG and nothing else. Have you had a biopsy?
It's incredibly worrying when something odd is spotted in the bladder and I hope you get your results back soon.
It's difficult to keep positive for sure when thing's seem to take a turn.
Keep drinking lots of water too keep things flushed.
Please keep us posted.
Wishing you all the best.
Trevor
This forum and the people on here are really nice. They helped me massively in the beginning and they still do.
So much experience as most have been through or are still going through the treatment's in one form or another.
I'm glad you found this forums also and I hope you find them useful.
Take care.
Trevor
Hi Rictic,Welcome to our friendly group.I’m sorry you are bleeding again.Red patches can bleed even if you are not having bcg and they are common.I hope that yours are a result of having the bcg and not a recurrence.Let us know how you get on,we are all here for help and support.Best wishes Jane
Hi Rictic and welcome to this friendly and supportive group. Have you had your urine checked for a UTI? They are quite common after any bladder intervention. I have had red patches after each round of BCG and these have been due to inflammation. I hope you get your results quickly and that your fears are put to rest.
Love Ade xx
