Hi all

I've just spent the past while reading some people's profiles.

I must say it brought a tear to my eye. What an inspiration you people are. I can't believe what some people have been through.  The positivity is what I love and the will and determination to carry on and beat this evil disease is overwhelming. I am a great believer in being positive and its you guys that are driving me on

The names are too numerous to mention but yous know who you are.

When I beat this cancer I will always remain  a member and bestow onto others what I have learned from yous

Thank you

Mark

  • I think the same Mark. I've only been on here a few weeks and the support is mind-blowing. I too should like to stay on here and help others going through what we e are going through.

    Take care bud

  • Absolutely lovely post Mark, this is a friendly group that steady each other when we have a wobble and share good and bad . I don't know how i would have coped without them.  Its not a club that any of us ever wanted to be in , but i am so glad of the courageous people here that have been through so much , and yet find the time to throw the ladder back down for those starting out . Good luck to you mark, you sound very positive and thats a blessing xx

    Much love Angela x

  • I feel so guilty worrying so much about the future and just not appreciating the present.  I've wasted a year of my life over this ,  I have let myself become obsessed with it.  I'm starting to realise that if this cancer returns there will hopefully be treatment available and certainly support here.  Thank you all for welcoming me.

  • Hi suecol

There is always support. I have only been a member a short time but it has become a family to me. If anything is ever on your mind you'll find support here

    Good luck suecol

    Stay positive

  • Hi Mark,

In the beginning I found hearing and reading about other people's experiences very helpful and I've learnt more about bladder Cancer in these forums than from any medical team.

The first bit of advice I got was avoid Google and how right they are. I was provided with other links which also helped (Macmillan bladder Cancer info etc)

I read others profiles and I'm also in awe what some people have been through. I'm amazed about the different treatments and how Hospital Trust's do things differently.

This group has and still does really help me and it's heartwarming to see others getting support also.

It's really great that you also found the forums helpful also.

    All the best.

    Trevor
