Hi, I'm Anita female 39, my story starts with re occurring UTI, this then led to bladder scans which they found a 6/7 cm tumour on the upper bladder wall, within 4 weeks had CT scan and turbt operation , have since found out is urachal cancer,( rare type that starts from the umbilical cord and no group for this on here) I had a pet scan on Saturday and now awaiting appointment for results and next steps likely in a couple weeks.
My question is , I'm almost 6 weeks post turbt and still get pains in groin/ bladder area, some shooting pains, some like an ache and wondering if anyone else has outer thigh pain too? I get the pain most once I've been toilet,or when I've walked a bit, I don't have an infection as seen doctor, I'm still of work atm and need to get back to it, I've currently got flank pain too
Any way of helping these would appreciate the advice, Ive been relying mainly on hot water bottle and paracetamol to help
Thanks
Hi Anita, I've had similar in fact still got it. Currently waiting on ct scan ...again. I've done chemo and radiotherapy green light laser but still up peeing overnight. think the next move is immunotherapy. My main problem now is getting up to the loo every 10-20 mins. I had spasms and found buscopan helped with spasms, you can get this over the counter at pharmacy, no prescription needed.
