Hi, I'm a 74yr old male, used to be on the Fight Bladder Cancer group (am i allowed to mention them? If not ...sorry.) on facebook. Although helpful I left facebook because of all the junk on hence I could no longer access FBC
I've was diagnosed summer of last year with stage 3 bladder cancer. Have been through chemo and radiotherapy since. Last ct scan in may followed by appt with oncology consultant showed cancer had traveled to lymph nodes and a suspect tiny spot on my liver. Next ct scan is next month + consultation again.see what results are this time.
Also had green light laser treatment last Xmas, not too successful.
Hi Franksnr1,
I've found this a friendly and helpful group many of whom have been here a while - I arrived a couple of months ago and am pleased to have joined. Good luck with your next CT and review.
I'm also being reviewed by oncologist after CT scans - next scan is end of this month though the review is early February. That will mark 2 years since bladder removal. Always a little nervewracking waiting to be told.
All the best,
Latestart (female 72)
