Hi there I'm new, looking for some advice.i was diagnosed with bladder cancer 1 year ago today. This was successfully removed in December and had a stent put in for 4 weeks. All was going well until about 4 weeks ago..I have a few of the same symptoms but not bleeding, fair bit of pain though. I'm due a cystoscopy in December. Do I wait till then to be checked or do I phone doctor. Don't want to waste doctors time if it's nothing ,am I just paranoid or scared.
Hi 5heroes and welcome to the group. Always worrying when something new happens. We have a flexible cystoscopy waiting list department at my hospital which I can ring to chase things up. If you can get the number at your hospital, then it might be an idea to give them a ring to see if they can get you in earlier. You could let them know you would be available for any cancellations. I did this once and then got a call to ask if I could be at the hospital within the next hour. I made it and all was well. i hope all goes well. Best wishes.
