I’m new here hello everyone
Oh Lily14, what a dreadful journey you've had. I wish I could give you a big hug but we'll have to settle for a virtual one. It has all happened so quickly for you, it's difficult to come to terms with a cancer diagnosis without the Radical Cystectomy and lymph node removal. How do you think your family would react if you actually told tham how you are feeling? You may be surprised at how supportive they will be of you. They may be thinking that everything is hunky-dory with your surgery and how you are coping with it all. When I got my diagnosis I told everyone and the level of support I've had has astounded me, even if I'm having a bad day and I'm worried about my future my family and friends are quick to surround me with love and support. I'm so glad that you have found the forum. We will support you any way we can, even if you just want a rant. But it may be useful for you to contact the Macmillan Councelling service to talk through some of the challenges you have. Take one day at a time and keep posting on the forum, we are all here for you.
Sending you love, hugs and positivity ️
Ade xx
