An overnight stay

Well done Nigel, well done. The catheter should not come out there is usually a bulbous bit on the bladder side that ensures that it’s retained. Plus your nursing staff will be keeping an eye on you in the night at regular intervals,

Thanks Leo. I’m shattered. Just want to be home. Having said that, the dog would be jumping all over me if I was there.. 

Those pesky paws always seem to land right on one’s bladder…sofs law

Good to hear that the operation is done.

I stayed overnight for both of mine and had catheters left in for both. They did attach the bag to my leg after a while so I could walk around, although it was a bit sore when moving about, so don't worry about pulling the catheter out.

I'm sure you'll be home soon.
