Evening all, had my surgery today, I think it took around 40 mins to an hour. I’ve got a catheter in and im staying overnight. I’m laying here scared to move in case I pull the catheter out. They are gonna take it out tomorrow morning, then I have to give 3 wee samples and have an ultra scan on the bladder before I can get home. Plus side, im weeing loads and it’s clear. Not sure I’m gonna get any sleep tonight. I hope everyone is ok.
best wishes Nigel
Good to hear that the operation is done.
I stayed overnight for both of mine and had catheters left in for both. They did attach the bag to my leg after a while so I could walk around, although it was a bit sore when moving about, so don't worry about pulling the catheter out.
I'm sure you'll be home soon.
Take care.
Trevor
