Hi everyone. My husband has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer which unfortunately has spread outside of the pelvis so is no.longer curable. I've are hoping that immunotherapy will be possible but are waiting for a TURBT before finding out. It is very likely that he also has prostate cancer. Unfortunately the cancer caused blood clots on his lungs so an op at the moment isn't possible. It is terrifying.
Welcome to this most helpful and kindly group MrsMatch. Did you know there are also groups on here for carers and for people with incurable cancers? And that you can phone Macmillan 8-8 daily for support and guidance.
Also I always suggest you contact your local Carers' Association to see what support they offer for you. This varies widely from area to area but is worth checking. [BTW as someone was confused about this recently, Carers' Associations are not about organising visiting carers to support the person with care needs, but about support for families and friends]
Hope you can find some calm, Denby
