New to this group was diagnosed today growth on bladder next step TURBT
I new what was coming so was not such a big shock
hoping to get some comfort from people who know exactly how I'm feeling and maybe exchange helpful information
I am happy with the team that are working with me they are all very kind, Its just the waiting time, It took them 4 weeks to receive my results which only took 2 week in most other places! When I asked the the consultant medical staff to give me a date on my operation he said remember this Is Northern Ireland so take what you may from that
Thank You Simon I will plod on and hope for the best Anya xx
Hi Anya, I get what you mean about appointments. It feels like suddenly life revolves around the hospital, and its the last place any of us want to be. I have also been doing a vast amount of comfort eating haha and its all landed around the middle !! I regret it as soon as I have eaten that vanilla slice , I promise I will get a grip. I do feel calmer now that i know what the plan is with treatment, so maybe I will eat less chocolate. much love to you Anya, stay in touch Angela xx
Much love Angela x
Hi Angela I'm happy things are going well with you and may it continue x
Yes I seem to have appointments every week, I'm having assessment for chemo this week and more bloods next week, I'm going for the chemo now its the one where your hair does not fall out I'm getting 3 blasts so that will be another 3 appointments along with the other 2 they have lined up for me! Besides all that I'm getting on as normal as can be Anya xx
Its good to hear you sounding a bit more hopeful Anya, keep your strength up and keep in touch. I think we are all on this road of new friends and support from the group for some time yet. I find it really calming that I know someone on here knows exactly what I am going through, and is happy to listen and give their thoughts. Always got your back , much love Angela xx
Much love Angela x
