Hello
i have been treated for muscle invasive bladder cancer and should have had a cystoscopy in September. Unfortunately, I developed a DVT in May and a further one 3 weeks ago. The procedure has now been delayed due to the blood thinning medication (Enoxaparin) I am on. The consultant and his team are divided as to if the operation should go ahead or delay but risk delaying treatment should there have been a recurrence of the cancer. Has anyone here had a similar experience?
Hello and welcome to the group. Sorry to hear your treatment has been delayed. I was treated for muscle invasive, but fortunately did not have problems with DVT. Do you know when they will make a decision? Best wishes.
