Well that’s me just out from my appointment with the surgeon, and I’m kinda lost for words if my honest he didn’t tell me anything new still T2 G3 CIS. He seemed to give me all the worse cases, the fact it could spread, they go to do the op and when they open me up the cancer spread too much, the fact chemo doesn’t work. It’s put me on a downer cos I’ve been reading all the good positives story’s. Has anyone heard of the chemo not working or not being able to go surgery?
I'm sorry to hear that ClaireN21, not what anyone wants to hear, & I know this doesn't help but he was being honest so you know what you're up against. But you are right to feel positive, they say positivity helps towards a good recovery. My Oncologist told me some years ago that there's no free lunch here, He was right there isn't, but it's not always the worst news either. We're all here for you x
