Had Rigid Cysto today, 4mm recurrence on dome, 2mm & 1mm above & lateral to the uteric orfices. Cold cup biopsies taken, recurrence diathermied. Feel good, hope I can stop talking tonight, have taken patecetamol & Codeine before pain even thinks about starting. Had many, many weeees, none of the usual struggle. Best news is that I don’t have to see them again ifor 9 months, I’ve waited so long to hear those words! Thanks for your support people, much, much appreciated!!!!!! If you don’t hear from me for a while I’ve probably exhausted myself with this energy I appear to have had since the op. Hope you are all keeping as well as can be expected xxx
Hi BLANKET. Good to know you've had the blighters zapped. Feet up and treat your yourself. Nice bottle of wine should go down well if that is your thing. Nice long break for you now. We know how much of a hard time you have had with it over the years. Wishing you all the best going forward..
Hi Blanket,Mum is much the same, she is 87 soon.I haven’t been doing that much lately due to my back.It is frustrating but until I know what’s going on with it I don’t want to make it worse.I hope you are resting and that your bladder settles soon.love Jane xx
Aaaw, is your mom home now Jane? I can’t remember, sorry. You need to make sure to take some time out for yourself, I know it’s hard for you. I rang the hospital again & they said for me to go to A&E so I did yesterday before the weekend rush. Just before I left I managed to empty my bladder, that was the last of the blood & clots that I’ve seen. But I’d got a taxi booked so I still went as you know how these things can change. I felt a right fraud when my weee was clear. Slept fir 4 hours last night, still lively. Went back to bed at 7.30am & just been resting & unable to sleep. Codeine gives me hallucinations, someone was trying to put a large peg on my nose all night Still pain free but used them as a relaxer. Thanks all for your wonderful support xxx
Hi Blanket,Sorry you ended up in A & E,better to be safe than sorry though.I hope you can catch up on some sleep.Mum lives in a nursing home now as she has end stage dementia. She is being well looked after, the staff are caring.I had been doing well but since my back is painful I can’t do much.Waiting to see if it’s cancer related.Take care, love Jane xx
