So last week I got told I had MIBC, and today I was told it’s T2 G3 I been told I need 3 rounds of chemotherapy and then surgery to remove my bladder which is a big op but if it’s to give me my life back that’s what I need to do. Has anyone been given the same as me and been through the surgery?
Hi ClaireN21. I was a bit further along than you with T3/G3. I had 3 cycles of chemo and then given the option of bladder removal or chemoradiation. I chose the latter and so far still have a normal bladder nearly 8 years later. Maybe an option you may like to explore. Others here have had removal and am sure will be along to help with their experiences. Best wishes.
Hi Claire. At some point you should meet an oncologist. Oncologists have different views to surgeons, so get as much information as you can on treatment options. Best wishes.
