Hi everyone, recently diagnosed and would like to ask a question. I have sarcomatoid bladder cancer, bladder and prostate and all pelvic lymph nodes removed 8 weeks ago. I read awful things about this variant. Is there anyone else in the group with some experience of this variant please? Thank you.
Hi . I see you have had some relies in he other thread, but let me welcome you to the group. Sorry I can't help, but hopefully you will get some further help here. Best wishes.
My last one was in the evening too,not easy waiting when you feel apprehensive.x
Keep the faith RoloSarcomo, my mum is one of the rare ones with Sarcomatoid bladder cancer who is still with us 10 years after diagnosis, now 79 y/o (bladder etc removed). She says every day is a blessing. All the best today.
Wow, that is almost unheard of. Glad to hear she has kicked it’s backside. Thanks for letting me know x
Hi Rolo
I'm so sorry about your diagnosis, you must be all over the place at the moment. I just wanted to come on and say that my mum was diagnosed with sarcomatoid bladder cancer that was already in the lung by the time of diagnosis, she was given a ball-park of 12 months and yet she's still going strong 2 years later and has just started another 6 rounds of chemo.
I had to stop googling sarcomatoid BC as it's just all doom and gloom out there on the internet and it just isn't the same as daily lived experience for each individual. Wishing you all the best.
