Hi, I am due to have the Rigid camera to remove a tumor in my bladder. My only symptom has been not being able to fully empty my bladder.
The doc wants me to have a kidney scan before the op in a couple of weeks. Is this just routine or are they looking for something else? I'm worried as usual!!
Thanks x
Can I ask Sara0, did you have to go for a kidney scan too? X
I've got a CT urogram on Thursday so I guess they will look at everything then. I'm hoping for some feedback but I'm not sure I'll get any!
Did find out today that I have a urine infection though. They picked it up on my pre assessment. No idea how long that's been kicking around for as no symptoms for that either!! X
Hi . You don't usually get any feedback on scans on the day. The images go off to be analysed by someone else. More waiting unfortunately. Best wishes.
Hi,I e-mailed Macmillan and had a nice reply this morning. They are due to update the info on the bladder cancer page so fingers crossed our symptom gets added to the list.Love Jane x
Hi LollyS, had my CT urogram this afternoon. It was fine (apart from the fact it feels like you've wet yourself when they inject the dye!!). No feedback at all which I think is a good thing. At least no extra worrying. Another tick in the box anyway. Good luck with yours. Hope you're okay. X
