BCG treatment

Hi Phone . Sorry to hear you are still suffering from the effects of BCG treatment. Could you have a word with your GP who may be able to help. I was wiped out with my own treatment and the GP prescribed some mild steroids which helped. Best wishes.

Hi Phone, I remember seeing inside of my bladder at a flexi cystoscopy after 18 doses and it looked like a grazed knee after a fall on gravel! The medical team gave me the option of stopping but I was still getting annual recurrences, so I ploughed on till I'd had 27 doses by which time I was 74. I reckon it took a few months before my bladder healed and I began to feel really well again but 5 years later I have stayed all clear so it was all worth it. Can you ring your Cancer Nurse Specialist and see if they can offer anything to help? Sending love Hx
