Hi friends, in my previous post I shared that following my diagnosis in 2024, T1G3 and CIS that the two years of BCG treatment had failed and I had been advised that RC surgery was recommended which I agreed to…However at my appointment yesterday with the surgeon to discuss the procedure and agree the date, I asked about ongoing treatment options such as radiotherapy or chemotherapy as an alternative to surgery and I’ve now been referred to a Professor for a second opinion to explore whether radiotherapy/chemotherapy might be possible as there’s some new research around this that might be suitable in my case..I think the reality is, I’ll be told ongoing treatment is an option but with increased risk and surgery remains the safest option.. ..I wondered if any of you has experience or knowledge of something similar..
