My inadequate knowledge of Greek Mythology has always been my Achilles Elbow! Update- the tumour on my lung has now been identified as a small lesion which following a biopsy will possibly be treated with radiotherapy. Therefore, we are now reverting to Plan A Robotic Nephrectomy removal of left the left kidney. I have no dates when the surgery and / or biopsy procedure is scheduled or in which order. I only received full prognosis of Pet Scan on Monday. Confused you will be! Stay well.
Hi Garviv. Sounds positive re the lung lesion. I've had something similar for years but they just monitor it and thankfully it has not changed. Good to know you are back on track with the kidney. Hopefully all will go well. Keep up the good humour. Wishing you all the best going forward.
Certainly is confusing. Whose pet did they scan? I frequently visit hospitals but have yet to see an off duty robot clanking down the corridors. Joking apart, there's a lot of very clever stuff being used these days to improve the whole surgical process. Still daunting though, when questions are answered in medical terms, needing a session with AI to explain things when you get home. I hope you are given some dates soon. Best wishes.
