Hi, I am 70 year old male, who has been through Bladder cancer, to date I'm clear, but have routine Cystoscopy and BCG infusion.

My wife and I are looking for travel Insurance, any suggestions

Regards Glyn

  • Me too... will be interested in any responses.!

  • Hi , I have used two different companies in the past 3 years with varying prices. I havent had to make a claim , so I am not qualified to say if they are a good or bad company tbh. I would advise that medical history has to be thorough and include everything, to that end, I call them up and fill in the forms over the phone and then wait for ghe quote. This year i am off to the chanel islands again and booked with a company called ‘ Insurance with’ . I hope they are good , but equally hope i dont need them. Good luck

    Much love Angela x

  • We also have a Travel Insurance Group here which is worth a browse through. The main advice as Angela says is to talk to them over phone to make sure all avenues are covered. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • I've always used insurancewith.com since my diagnosis, or their sister company 'Get Going'. They have a questionnaire to declare condiitons/medications. Sometimes it's trickier to get insurance when you're having ongoing treatment. Remember always to declare everything, even simple blood pressure medication, just in case.

  • thanks teaswill, I had not heard of them before , but they offered a good price . Hopefully never need them x

  • I asked for advice. After a lot of research I went with Tesco’s.

  • Try Albert and Eddies travel insurance. Couple of people recommended them from MacMillan Travel Group. 20% off first purchase
