Hiya people hope you are all well, can i ask how long you had to wait for Turbit surgery please as its the waiting thats not great
Thanks
Hi Forncett . I waited about 4 weeks from it being detected to TURBT but that was a long time ago. Things tend to differ from place to place. There is always a lot of waiting in our world . Have you had your pre op assessment yet ? Best wishes.
Wow i wish it was only 3 weeks now, the wait is driving me mad, id really like to no what im dealing with the anxiety is real i got a letter back with finding of cystoscopy said 1cm and 0.5cm papillary bladder lession going into the hollow of the bladder
Hi Forncett, I'm afraid there is quite a bit of waiting ahead of you. I waited a month to have my first TURBT and after the TURBT it always take at least 2 weeks to get biopsy results through and discussed by the multi-disciplinary team before you meet the consultant for diagnosis. At that meeting if you are treated by NHS you will meet your Cancer Nurse Specialist, who can be a fantastic support at times of anxiety (which we all experience). The tumours sound to be pretty small so fingers crossed for you. Keep us p[osted. Love Hx.
Thankyou for your message yes its Nhs yes they did say at the pre op it would be 2 weeks after for results, its such a scary place to be, not sure how i will cope, but am praying hard that they are small, so fingers crossed for a hopeful outcome once they are removed
