Has anyone had experience of swollen lymph nodes in the groin. Had 3 years Bcg treatment which seems to have been successful. Last camera in December was clear. Over the last four weeks lymph nodes in right groin have come up and I had ultra sound which said they were inflamed. Now got to have CT scan with contrast on chest and pelvic area, could this be the return of cancer? Any advice appreciated.
Evening Bumblebee49 . No experience of this so not much help. Hopefully it is a side effect of treatment and nothing sinister. I hope all goes well with your scans. Best wishes.
Hello Bumblebee49. Ultrasound scans are normally pretty sensitive for lymph nodes, so if shown to be inflamed only and with normal cystoscopy in December, highly unlikely to be return of cancer. But it’s good that they are doing a CT scan chest and pelvis to be sure. Hopefully it would just be BCG induced inflammation. Best wishes.
Thanks Hopeful786, they have said it's inflamed, they don't think it's connected to the bcg. Fingers crossed it can be sorted.
Thanks Rily hopefully will find out eventually, something else to worry about.
All the best.
