Awake and back on ward had tea and toast, god how good does tea and toast taste when you've been starved for so long. 

I have a feeling there has been something removed this time or several biopsies taken just get that feeling. And I'm going home with a catheter for a week apparently this time. Which is also unusual to me. And asked if I was in any pain. 

Codeine and paracetamol to go home with extra night bags and bag stand etc follow up in 2 weeks with surgeon apparently. Hopefully only a week for catheter removed but said might take longer. 

3 slices of toast, 3 cuppas plus orange juice, yoghurt crisps and a ham sandwich demolished in no time. 

Feet up and take it easy for a few days. Best wishes.

Off on sick for a week at least til I get catheter out as not used to walking with one etc. Can't be clambering in and out of trucks and stuff with one in. I thought a catheter would be great fun not having to go to the loo much etc. But it's not feeling that fab at the moment. If I'm honest. 

Just read my discharge letter. Deffo biopsies taken at least.

R/V with histology in clinic in 2 weeks.

TWOC in 5 to 7 days so looks like I have to go and nick someone's car in 5 to 7 days apparently  can't believe the NHS condone such behaviour 

Trial w/o catheter for urination. So assume they have concerns about me being able to pass urines feely hence the catheter for a while. All new to me this never had one other than for a few hours last check up and out wee and home. 

Not doing well with catheter in I'll be honest I thought it would be nice not having to keep getting up and going through loo. Not had a wink of sleep all night. Peed a good 3.5 litres since yesterday after being released but then slowed down drinking so I could try and last for some sleep. 

Now not got much output and feel like I'm gonna wet myself at times. 

Drinking slowly but don't want to drink too much in case it causes more problems. 

Spoke to SAU not long ago and she assured me it's all normal including some leakage around the insertion site, and 15ml an hour output they would be happy with. 

But sometimes the urge is so strong to pee normally and I have to really stop my muscles pushing as it says not to push like you normally would for a wee. 

Said it should die down and if no output or serious abdominal pain ring back but it's normal apparently.  Never been home with a catheter before so this is all new to me. 

I had the feeling or needing a wee yesterday but not like today where I really feel like I'm gonna explode and pee myself. 

So yeah it's rough today. Taking tablets to eases any pain as they are pretty uncomfortable that's for sure if you manage to tug at it. No way I'd be at work like this even with a bag on glad they have signed me off. 

Also can any one give me an ideas how you go for a number 2 without pushing or do you literally wait until you have to go, don't want to take dulcolax yet as I'll not get off the loo all day  I'm so sorry for sharing but hey sharing is caring. Haven't had one since yesterday and I know I haven't eaten tons but last thing I want it to be constipated too. 

I have just wet myself slightly a couple of times as when the urge comes on that string it's impossible to stop pushing no matter how hard I try. Said again it does happen with bladder spasms sometimes and unless it gets worse contact my GP or go to A&e if it gets really bad or abdominal pains and the will send me up to the ward when they have space as they are apparently rammed today. 

Not liking this one bit of I'm honest. Hope it dies down soon.
