Hi
My husband is having monthly intravesical bladder treatment with gementacine chemo.
Going to India in January. Is it safe for her to have the necessary travel vaccinations?
I've read stuff about live vaccines but not sure what it all means. Any advice appreciated
Not sure about BCG but whilst I was on my Mitomycin flushes they always asked any medications or and any vaccinations in the last 2 weeks. Also at the end end not to have any vaccinations until 2 weeks later.
So I would ring and ask the question tbh if I was in your shoes, but I'd imagine vaccinations etc can interfere with the BCG possible as well.
It's best to get answers from medical professionals imho just to be sure and safe.
