Bcg query

Hi Bumblebee, 

I haven't finished the 27 , but I was given a schedule by my consultant, including all the BCGs and biopsies.

My schedule only shows a total of 27 in total including the initial 6 induction.

Congrats by the way on doing all 27.

Hi Trevor, thanks so much. I thought it was. Yes a big relief to get the last one (well I hope it is) on Monday. Still suffering a bit but just pleased after 3 years I have got there.

Where are you at with yours Trevor? 

No worries, the schedule they gave me was very helpful, included things like the suggested gaps in between.

I had number 18 in March, so was due to have number 19 in September, but my last biopsy in August showed Chronic Inflammation, so has been postponed.

I'm away next week so wasn't going to have it beforehand, but I'm not 100% sure I'll be continuing for a while at least unfortunately. I feel better now, but we'll see.

My consultant suggested a reduced amount or just having the two instillations instead of 3....

Oh I see. Sounds like they are involved with your planning which sounds good. 

Sorry to hear about the inflammation, it's quite hard going on the bladder isn't it. It's good that they can reduce it slightly and put it off for a while. 

The way I feel this week I don't feel that I could have any more. Hopefully will feel better next week.

Thanks Angela all good at the moment just had nice little night away to Bath to celebrate being 65. Just got to stay positive now and pray no return.

The initial 6 should form part of the total number.

I have completed 15, which is the total regime with my Trust, so there is a bit of variation out there in the regimen they use.

I'm an October baby, wednesday in hospital for my rigid cystoscopy the day before my birthday, what am amazing birthday present 

Born the following day instead and I'd have been a werewolf 

And happy birthday for next week!!
