I have been diagnosed with muscle invasive cancer and it is affecting a lymph node.
I’m considered a risk from more surgery and so referred to oncology.
oncology are giving me a rest for three months before another scan and the possibility chemotherapy.
has anyone been in this place
Hi Derby74 . Sorry to hear it is now invasive. I was also muscle invasive although no node involvement . I had chemo followed by radiotherapy. Have they said why they are waiting so long before deciding on treatment ? Best wishes.
Hello Derby74, sorry about muscle invasion but ....we love slow growth. If the oncologist is giving you a treatment holiday maybe you could spend time doing something that lifts your heart? Get yourself ft and ready for chemo ahead. Sending love H
