Well the grading and everything else stays the same.
But I now need to have the 6 weekly instillation probably starting in the next 2 weeks.
I also will be booked for another CT scan as well.
Anyone that can give me an info re the instillations, I know it involves a catheter and then holding it for 2 hours before evacuating. That's about all I really know about it.
Hi Simc
I had 6 last year, it was painless, after 2 hours you can go to the toilet. If possible use a separate toilet in the house
It is PURPLE
I was told to put half a bottle of bleach in the bowl, then pee, then put the other half in and leave it a while before flushing
BUT follow the instructions from the nurses it might have changed
I had no side effects apart from slight stinging afterwards
Feel free to ask anything else you need to know
Much love Tina x
I only have one toilet but only me here cause the cat isn't toilet trained so that isn't an issue better stock up on bleach as well.
That's what I understand mostly from what I've read.
I'm not going to be happy about the catheter though I really struggled with the Flexi Cystoscopy
But I guess needs must.

Hi Si
It is very quick, not even as long as a Flexi Cystoscopy, but worth it
I had BC twice but I have had two clear Flexi Cystoscopies since Mitomycin
Much Love Tina x
Thanks Tina, here's hoping it helps.
