Evening all,
can anyone shed any light on this?
I know the urologist said this could happen but I’m a bit worried….spoken to my CNS and she is gonna have a word tomorrow and get back to me…
Nigel xx
Quick update, CNS rang me today, I’ve given a urine sample today to check for any infection….if it comes back clear then they will check my PSA levels with a blood test and do another MRI…
Biopsies that were done on the prostate in October came back clear and last PSA bloods came back normal, so I’m hoping for the same outcome….just a waiting game now….
Cheers Trevor, im exhausted mate… feel, like I’ve gone back two years…
funny thing is mate, when they tell you this could happen or that could happens it’s just words until it does happen and then it’s real… a mixture of fear, anxiety and trying to look for the positive… hope your well…

Hi Nigel,
Yeah I can imagine being shattered, the anxiety can do that, plus everything else going on it all mounts up.
I've not had blood in the seamen before, but can be caused by various things, infections, from the cyscopies etc.
This journey is a right horrible trek..
Hope Maggie's is still going well?
I'm good thanks, my next appointment/biopsy is on 15/08 but enjoying the break ATM.
Still got to make the decision on if I want to carry on with the BCG, still not sure.
All good fun eh..
Keep us updated.
Trevor
Hi Trevor, CNS is gonna ring me tomorrow.
Maggies is great mate…they have been so helpful…
wow that’s a difficult decision to have to make…just when you think everything is ok something knocks you right back down to earth…
just a waiting game now…im sure they will have a plan for me…
Really good to hear that Maggie's is going well.
I had some group and one and one therapy some year's ago, it was very helpful.
The BCG just killed my bladder after the last batch, but on the flip side seems to be working. Although some trust's only do 18 instillations. I'll probably go ahead, but if the inflammation kicks off like last time then I'll just stop.
Best of luck tomorrow morning.
