Hello all,
went to Maggies today to start a six week course on dealing with stress….really enjoyed it…met some amazing people..so glad I went..picked up some good advice and tips…I highly recommend it…
love to you all xx Nigel xx
Hi mate,
All's well here thanks. I'm going to wait until after my next biopsy which is due 15/08 and take it from there.
Hopefully I can continue, but I'm more than happy for it too stop lol. Wondering if the damage Vs the benefit of the remaining instillations is worth it.
In all fairness it's a lot better now, only wake once during the night and the urgency is getting less.
I'm off to a concert next week and was dreading it a while back, but feeling better about it now. I'll just avoid beer etc.
It's really good to hear your first session at Maggie's went well.
Keep us posted.
Trevor
Cheers Trevor, I hope the BCG goes well mate, and enjoy the concert…
giving the option I want to finish the whole 27 BCGs… I asked my CNS about check ups after the treatment..she told me that it’s ten years from diagnosis, but because I’m in my fifty’s the check ups will go on for longer..that was one of my worries…what happens after the treatment finishes…put my mind at ease…
I can understand wanting to complete all 27, I guess I'll have to wait and see.
My check ups go to every 6 Month's after the August one, and then to yearly. Must admit that I didn't realise they went on for so long.
I guess it's good we're being looked after.
