Hello Angela, I’m taking a moment to wish you well with your scan tomorrow. I had 2/3 in the early times of my treatment. Just another thing to worry about! I’m sure everything will be fine. Garviv X
Morning Garviv, thankyou for your lovely wishes. Scans are always a worry arent they ? Thank god we have them though.I am sat in a car park of a shopping centre waiting. The funny thing is I live very close to my hospital, but to fit the scan in I have had to travel 10 miles to a shopping centre diagnostic place. I suppose this is how they are getting the waiting lists down. Anyhow it will soon be done and then its the waiting game, planning to keep myself very busy . Hope you have a lovely day Garviv x
Much love Angela x
Thanks Hero , all done, just the waiting game now xx
Much love Angela x
I shall keep my fingers crossed for you teaswill.
I thought i was very prepared mentally for the actual ct with contrast, knowing that i get the very hot feeling starting in my throat and going all the way to my bladder when they inject the contrast. I knew it was coming , yet still felt panicked . They tell me it will be 2 weeks to report. How long do you have to wait ?
Much love Angela x
That contrast isn't pleasant at all. Renogram not too bad, long wait (have to drink a pint of water an hour before scan). Amazes me how fast these substances go through the body - injection in the arm simultaneous with pressing start on the scanner! Now just headache, fatigue & frequent toilet visits. About 2 weeks to wait for me too, but looked OK on the screen. Hope yours all OK.
Fingers crossed for a clear result and hopefully nothing to be worried about. Think positively and positive things will happen or so they say
