  1. Hello everyone, not been on here visibly for a while now but still follow journeys. Just wanted to give hope to those starting on their journeys, it was two years ago today I lost my kidney, ureter and bladder cuff to cancer after being diagnosed with Upper tract urothelial cancer, I had also had 3 cycles of gem/cis chemo prior to op to reduce size of cancer to allow surgery. I know there are very few on here with this rare type of bladder cancer but just wanted to share, as I continue to be cancer free, now moving to six monthly cystoscopies and hopefully annually CT scans if next one in August remains clear. A cancer diagnosis is so frightening, but sharing on here helped me during my darkest days, even when others were unable to support with a similar diagnosis, knowing I could chat to others made it so much easier, so as I said at the beginning of this chat, good luck on your journeys, wherever your path is leading you, you will know support is always here for you.
