I had a PTA intermediate ( low ) grade tumour removed march 2024 I’ve had 3 turbts since nice for red patches ( all were ok )

I saw professor vasdev for the 3rd biopsy Christmas, this was ok. I’m still having microscopic blood and low pelvic discomfort.

he told me that you can have microscopic blood for years ?? Has anyone else been told this ??

I'm trying to keep calm!

  • Hi  . Sorry to hear you are still showing signs of blood. It is not uncommon after treatment but still needs to be investigated . Do you have a CNS to call ? Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • I don’t but I’m thinking of contacting my consultant, I have health anxiety so worried they might think I’m just overly concerned

  • You have my sympathy and understanding as I have similar health anxieties and have still got problems with bleeding after my radiotherapy in 2017 and two TURBTs in 2018. Don't hold back from talking to someone on your medical team about your concerns. They are very busy but are there to help. A bit of reassurance and treatment if necessary will work wonders with most patients. Best wishes, and we will do our best to help you through this as well, as will Macmillan.
