Panic Stations had the procedure the end of January had biopsy taken but unfortunately they were lost got the same procedure mid April, had a mri and ct scans dreading if its its not good news just getting a bit stressed. Phil.
Hi Phil,
How incredibly frustrating that they lost your biopsy results. How on earth can they lose them?
Certainly doesn't help the stress levels.
Not sure if it helps but many people have two TURBTs, including myself. My first TURBT was not conclusive so had to have another.
Also had a CT scan and MRI, but I had to chase to get these results and was just told they were fine and would have only been mentioned if something was found.
Best of luck on your next TURBT and for your results.
Keep us posted.
Trevor
Hi Phil
not the first time I’ve seen someone’s biopsy get lost and I’m sure you must be really frustrated waiting for them to confirm what your results are and what your treatment plan will be like Trevor said most people do have two TURBT and treatment or plan commences following that hopefully they will get on with quickly in the coming weeks and can provide you with some reassurance maybe a call to your Specialist nurse if you’ve been assigned one and she maybe able to shine a little light on anything that maybe concerning you but they tend not to give to much away well mine didn’t anyway but did answer questions I had best she could
