Surgeons At the edge of life

They had a previous episode featuring my hosp (& one of the consultants) in a combined bladder/bowel removal. Can't stand the commentary, I find better to watch on iplayer so you can skip bits!

I’ve watched a female cystectomy.I think that was on Emergency code red but I watch most medical programmes so may have got muddled.

Don't think I could watch that Jane after going through it all lol

How interesting, not going to lie I'm not a massive fan of surgery programs but might give it a watch..

Hi Mark,Yes I did.It was a lady who had pre cancerous bladder changes that would have led to an aggressive cancer if left.I think she must have had the same as I did but caught in time.

I suppose it let's you see what goes on , but not my cup of tea lol

Just watched it on catch up. Amazing stuff. The surgeons were incredible overcoming unexpected challenges. Well done NHS. Best wishes.

Watched it last night.  Very interesting and I'm amazed at what the NHS surgeons can do.  Fantastic stuff.
