Hi Guys
Would firstly like to wish you all the very best on your journey through this disease.
I wondered if anyone else is still suffering from extreme fatigue long after treatment has finished.
I had a right side distal ureterectomy with reimplantation exactly a year ago, this being after 5 years of TURBTs and recurrences but am lucky to still be non invasive, have had the full whack of BCG and a course of Mitomycin all over two years ago. I went back to work recently after 11 months off and just feel so whacked out when i get home and my job is pretty easy and sedentary, anyone else felt the same?? Feel like my physical ability and energy levels have really changed over the last year.
Thanks for listening, best wishes to you all

Colopy . Hi Trish and welcome to the group although sorry to hear you are still washed out after treatment. Fatigue usually subsides up to a few months after treatment finishes. It might be worth asking your GP if you could have a blood test. I found my fatigue was down to low blood counts and pernicious anaemia. This was remedied with regular B12 injections. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes.
Hi Trish,I had a cystectomy over 5 years ago and don’t have as much stamina as I did before the surgery.I was anaemic post op and fatigue did improve after iron tablets.Hopefully your energy levels will pick up with time. All the treatments are bound to have taken their toll on your body.Jane x
