Started to bleed again

Hi dave good to hear from you again. Sorry to hear there is blood back in the urine. I haven't experienced this myself and I had my turbt back in November but from reading other posts over the months it seems to be a common thing. I would contact the hospital and tell them your concerns. Don't put it off hoping it will go away.

Good morning Aston63. Your question is raised frequently and many of us find the bleeding after few weeks after TURBT a bit of a surprise. I’m told it’s the removal of scabs and debris after the procedure often with blood clots . It is regarded as normal but if you have any concerns then contact your urology department , regards John.

Yes i did see that it was common but I'm going to contact urology now just to be on the safe side.

Thank you for that info, I'm hoping it is just what you say it is. The blood was quite thick like treacle almost .

Treacle is about right with maybe little bits of cornflakes .

I have had three TURBT and this happened three times. Can be quiet painful as clots and stuff find there way out. It is a very sensitive bit of kit down there and it takes time to heal up. I am sure you will be fine but if you get a lot of bright red blood I would go to Docs.

Just an update guys , the clot eventually came out was painful to say the least and now weeing clear again now. I didn't go to A&E in the end for the dreaded 12 hout wait.

That's good dave. My turbt was back in November I've been lucky to have had no issues but every pee I do I still check. Keep the fluids going and keep flushing
